31 Day Challenge, Day 9: Rainbow, or: Use ALL the polishes!

Finally, rainbow day! Finally, not because I've been looking forward to it, or I had a great vision of my mani today, but because I had 2 complete fails before I finally came up with this. I had lost hope, I really didn't think I'd be able to come up with something I half-like, and here I am, in love with these nails.

Long post with many pictures and all the polishes I used ahead:

The basic idea of these nails is inspired by the cloud mani by Nailside. Ever since I've seen that tutorial, I've been doing cloud manis every couple of weeks. They're very easy to do, the possibilities are endless, and they always look awesome.

All you do is paint stripes in different lengths on you nail with the polish brush. So I painted one coat of Sally Hansen White On as a base, grabbed my 15 rainbow colors, and went to town.

On my thumb, we have: Yes Love #87, China Glaze SeƱorita Bonita, P2 Scandal

On my pointer: Catrice It Blue my Mind!, P2 Gigantic, Kiko #340

On my middle finger: Essie Pretty Edgy, P2 Artful, Catrice Sold Out For Ever (1st version)

On my ring finger: China Glaze Papaya Punch, P2 Hug Me!, NYC Lexington Yellow

On my pinky: Catrice Raspberry Fields Forever, P2 Drama, Essie Cute as a Button

Bonus handshot for everyone who made it through this post! See you tomorrow!
